There is nothing worse than the feeling of being fat and being overweight. We may feel happy about our bodies, but we often become insecure about them. I find that a diet plan can help me start to lose weight naturally. My goal is to lose 10 lbs by September 2020. Here are 5 things that I like about my body. My skin looks better, it's not as wrinkled, it makes me look healthy and confident, my clothes fit me well, and my self-worth is high. I can't wait to show off all the amazing parts of myself without having to deal with too much insecurity or thinking that I'm too fat!
1. What are your favorite parts of your body?
I think I really like my arms because they make holding stuff easy. I also like the way my butt looks at the bottom of my arms. My legs are long and slim; which gives me the extra inches I need on every muscle area so I don't feel ashamed about my curves. My thighs are flat and comfortable so I don't worry about what people see on the outside. My feet are soft-looking white sandals that just remind me that I'm a girl with long legs and feet. Finally, my face and neck are beautiful because my hair has grown long.
2. are you love your makeup?
I don't actually enjoy wearing makeup. It is just not necessary. I do like to use an oil based foundation because it makes everything go smoothly. This doesn't do a lot to cover up dark freckles or uneven lines around my mouth and eyes. A regular foundation works for me, but it leaves my skin with a matte finish. I am currently using La Roche Posay Skin Powder Makeup Primer in bronze tone. Although I don't like to apply eye shadow and tend to overdo it when taking care of a very large amount of freckles or blackheads.
3. How does your clothing fit you?
My dress fits me well. Even though it isn't a formal one, it will still work. The fact that my shirt is a cotton material means it won't shrink. While the skirt needs to be loose enough for the waistline to sit high enough. My jeans and pants are a touch tight when I put makeup on because my body has to squeeze down a bit more. I feel comfortable dressing like this even if I'm not going out for lunch.
4. Is there anything on your nails that you feel insecure about?
My nail polish isn’t something that people take notice of until they start noticing my foot. Since I don’t really like doing anything more than a casual pedicure, my fingernails aren’t that big of a deal. I often have a tiny little cuticle on either side of my finger where I use red lipstick and nail paint. Sometimes they seem to start itching after a couple minutes and can even break open if I use a harsh nail polish remover. I know that because when I had a split, it was easily healed, however, once it becomes infected, it can spread easily. If you are in a hurry- you can buy special products that will give you anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties and let your nails grow back much faster. 5. Have you ever been skinny before?
I don't know if I've ever been skinny, but I don't know why. When I did some research during quarantine, it came to light that skinny women had larger chests than skinny men, and most of us were thin in the past. I think that's because most of us used to be thinner by the age of 20 or maybe the 30s. Now I know I am pretty skinny if that makes any sense. In school, I had gained a few pounds and they told me that it's normal to gain more weight and look more slender than you are. Most others say their confidence was low as well. Then they started seeing how beautiful and confident they looked compared to everyone else in class. For example: They said that mine wasn't that great. But it didn't really matter; how people saw me was not important to me. Plus I guess I'm not super skinny anymore.
